Nina conducts research on building materials and lighting technologies with a special focus on the experience and perception of transparency and translucency. The research project ‘Adaptive Lighting in Transparent Spaces develops knowledge on how the use of composite, transparent materials can enable new ways of designing with artificial and natural light in residential architecture.
