Niclas Hedam is a PhD Fellow at the IT University of Copenhagen. He completed his bachelor's degree in Software Development in 2019, his master's degree in Computer Science in 2022 and has previously worked at ITU as a Research Assistant.

Niclas is interested in security in the context of data systems, including how to guarantee the availability, integrity and confidentiality of modern data systems and computational storage.

Niclas is currently working in the context of DAPHNE to explore and experiment with eBPF-based offload on computational storage in large-scale data pipelines.

Research areas
