Curriculum
I research current and emerging uses of social media, in particular use cultures and performative practices on Facebook and Instagram, as well as transmedial world engagement on social media platforms. I have previously looked at how politicians have taken up different social media platforms in relation to Danish elections. I currently focus on user practices in relation to dying, death and mourning on social media, and how the covid19-pandemic have given rise to playful "corona memes", and new technological practices in the deathcare industry.
