Organisation profile

Adaptive Environments
The Adaptive Environments research group investigates the mutual adaptation between us and our built environment: objects, buildings and landscapes.

The focus on human interaction, relation and communication expands into the relationship between human behaviour and software behaviour. The research includes a range of scales of the subject matter, such as adaptive architectures and adaptive lighting, biological substances, telematics work practice,  human extensions, autonomous robots and transformative environments.
