Abstract
IT developers and consultants often ask for an exemplary requirements specification as a starting point for their own project. Problem-oriented requirements SL-07 is such a specification. It is a template filled in with a complex example: Requirements for an Electronic Health Record system (EHR). There is a matching contract.
This booklet explains why the requirements are written the way they are, what to be careful about, how the requirements relate to business, the contract, etc.
