Project Details
Description
Investigating provably secure solution for scaling Proof-of-Stake blockchains, as well as privacy preserving blockchain applications.
Key findings
The main results were: Gearbox, one of the first provably secure blockchain sharing protocols and the first to achieve optimal shard sizes; FAST, an trustless efficient protocol for first and second price sealed bid auctions based on confidential transactions on blockchain-based cryptocurrencies and smart contracts; PAPR, an anonymous credential scheme with publicly auditable anonymity revocation based on anonymous committees randomly chosen using a Proof-of-Stake lottery, who hold anonymity revocation trapdoors.
