Description
We investigated an efficient construction of privacy preserving smart contracts where all data in inputs and outputs of the smart contract remain private, except for the transactions. As an application, we considered privacy preserving decentralised exchanges (DEX).
Key findings
We constructed P2DEX, a privacy preserving decentralised exchange based on a smart contract and Multiparty Computation (MPC). This solution keeps the data inputs to the smart contract (e.g. exchange prices) private by means of MPC, while allowing clients to simply submit their exchange requests, which are then processed by an MPC protocol executed among servers.
