Project Details
Description
Today, many SMEs lack the expertise and resources to integrate sustainability into their operations, limiting their ability to compete in a market increasingly driven by green priorities. While research continues to advance in sustainable and green IT practices, a critical gap remains in translating these research innovations into actionable business strategies.
This project seeks to bridge this gap by exploring business models and service offerings that translate sustainability research into practical tools for Danish IT SMEs. We are particularly interested in mapping potential commercialization mechanisms for Sustainable and Green IT research and testing their financial and operational feasibility. In this way, we contribute to strengthening the green competencies of Danish IT SMEs, by developing scalable solutions that can ensure their competitiveness while maximizing the social and economic impact of sustainability transformation in Denmark and Europe.
