Digital marginalization of vulnerable elderly

The project undertakes a systematic investigation of digital marginalization amongst Danish elderly citizens. It tries to understand how in and what ways advanced digitalization affects elderly individuals who are already at the fringes of society, i.e. in vulnerable situations. To do so, the project will conduct a series of qualitative interviews with elderly as well as governmental employees responsible for helping them on a day to day. In doing so, the project sheds light on the experiences of digital marginalization and provide concrete advice for policymakers and interest-groups.
