Project: Education

Project Details

Description

Today, tech startups who operate in heavily regulated environments, such as Fintech are faced with complex and rapidly emerging regulations related to sustainability such as CSRD, SFDR, ESRS, GPP criteria and EU Green Taxonomy, to name a few. Meanwhile, customers from both public and private sectors are pressured to procure sustainable or green digital services and increasingly push forward demands to the supply chain to report the sustainability or green performance of the services they provide.
Environmental, Social and corporate Governance (ESG) data is at the core of securing both the bottom line and skyline of Fintech startups by responding to the needs of compliance requirements and customer demands. However, providing ESG data for startups has known challenges such as:
1. Gaps between the ESG frameworks currently used by investors, regulators, and the customers
2. Lack of data capabilities and resources as related to ESG reporting among individual startups.
This project develops professional educational materials, including lecture content, workshop games, baseline methods, graphic materials, and textbook that specifically address these challenges and facilitates strategic and sustainable growth of Fintech startups in the long term.
