Description
Data Science and Mathematics Education. RQ 1: What are the possibilities of integrating data science as an approach to modelling in mathematics and in
bidisciplinary projects, when explicitly linking to scholarly practices within modern data science? RQ 2: How can data science be taught and learned in upper secondary school when adopting inquiry based approaches to education in mathematics and science? RQ 3: How can we engage teachers in professional
development activities preparing them to design and teach data science as an integral part of existing upper secondary school disciplines? RQ 4: Based on
answers to the above research questions, how data science as part of mathematical modelling education contribute to the the students’ development of critical citizenship in a digitalised world
