Bicycle network algorithms

Project: Research

Project Details

Description

Sustainable mobility, urban planning. In the last few years, we have achieved great research results at ITU on the topic of bicycle network planning with commercial potential and have an eventual goal of establishing a consultancy company based on the results. The impact of our research for policy-making and sustainable mobility planning could be drastically increased by building a streamlined, web-based, and universally accessible platform for bicycle network scenario modelling - targeted at policy-makers, urban planners, researchers and citizen science activists. We have an international team ready covering most aspects, but are in need of hiring a backend developer for a year, and a freelance graphic/web designer for minor web design work, to mature the project. The international collaborators are self-funded, so they do not need to be accounted for in the budget.
