Personal profile

Research interests

I'm a PhD fellow, under supervision of Paolo Burelli, sitting in the BrAIn Lab under the Center for Digital Play in the Digital Design department.

My research is focused on the learning experience of playful games using theories from complex learning, such as Model for Affect Dynamics. I work with a digital boardgame platform for kindergartens provided by a company called YOLI.

My interests are mainly the role of confusion as a signal for genuine learning and as a guidance for procedural content generation.
