Katrine Meldgaard Kjær is an assistant professor at the IT University of Copenhagen, and is affiliated with ETHOS Lab and Technologies in Practice research group. She holds a PhD in Cultural Studies from the University of Southern Denmark. Her research interests include creative, interdisciplinary and experimental methods, in particular in relation to health controversies or controversial health initiatives. She is currently working on a research project about digital mapping of debates about medicinal cannabis, which combines big data and qualitative approaches and is funded by the Carlsberg Foundation.
