Curriculum

Jonas Fritsch, PhD, is Associate Professor in Interaction Design at the IT University of Copenhagen in the Department of Digital Design. He is head of the Affective Interaction & Relations (AIR) Lab and Research Group at ITU and Head of Study Programme for the MSc in Digital Design and Interactive Technologies. His work revolves around a creative thinking of interaction design, design processes, experience philosophy and affect theory through practical design experiments with e.g. interactive sound and physical interfaces. He is co-managing the DFF (Danish Independent Research Council)-funded project on Affects, Interfaces, Events(6.35 mio DKR) and Associated Partner in the 7-year SSHRC (Social Sciences and Humanities Council of Canada) research project entitled IMMEDIATIONS: Media, Art, Event(14.6 mio DKR). He is on the Editorial Board of the journals Inflexions, Conjunctions: Transdisciplinary Journal of Cultural Participation and Capacious: Journal for Emerging Affect Inquiry.
