Personal profile

Curriculum

I joined ITU in 2018 to conduct the "ISSP - Infrastructuring sustainable playbour" Marie Skłodowska-Curie project: a research investigating the sustainability of online collaborative commons and commoners' affective relationship with commoning. Since 2020 I am assistant professor at the Digital Design department, and primarily involved in the Digital Culture and Media (BSc) and Users in Contexts (MSc) courses.

I am a sociologist with a background in philosophy and STS. Broadly, my research interests concern the interplay between society and Information Technology through the lenses of Science and Technology Studies and Participatory Design. Over the recent years, I focused extensively on the mutual relationship between participation and the use, design, and development aspects of technology, as they play out in the context of commons and commoning. My research approach rests at the intersection of ethnographic interpretive research and intervention-based research grounded on Participatory Design.
