    Organisation profile

In robotics, computer games, virtual and augmented reality, solutions are neither optimal nor simple, but a carefully designed tradeoff between constraints of the application domain, the interests and abilities of human users, and the limitations and opportunities of current technology (hardware and software). Hence, while we predominantly work to advance underlying technologies and methods we always do this illuminated by the complexity of the real world and the humans that inhabit it. To this end artistic exploration and questioning of new technology is an integral part of our approach. This leads us to develop technologies that are not only ground-breaking, but often also aligned with the needs of humans and the companies where they work and thus in perfect alignment with the vision of the ITU.
