The Center for Computing Education Research (CCER) is a research-based praxis-oriented knowledge center at the IT University of Copenhagen. The center will study what DIGITAL COMPETENCES are, how they are taught and learnt, as well as how to teach and apply them in connection with different disciplines (such as, e.g., architecture and law). The center is also interested in how to incorporate gender and minority inclusion and how to incorporate online teaching/learning activities.
Note: The term DIGITAL COMPETENCES is to be interpreted in the broadest and most interdisciplinary form possible (matching the ITU's broad and interpretation of IT) which includes Digital Citizenship, Digital Design and Design Processes, Computational Thinking, and Creative Digital Competence.
