Presentation at Bentley University in the Computer Information Systems (CIS) Department

Press/Media: Press / Media

Description

We have had the pleasure of spending almost two weeks at Bentley University, visiting Prof. Dr. Dr. h.c. Roman Beck and the Bentley University Computer Information Systems (CIS) Department. It has been an inspiring opportunity to engage with a like-minded and strong research community, exploring new ideas and collaborations. During the visit, I had the opportunity to present some of our ongoing research based on two recently published papers:

(Paper I) Schwiderowski, J., Pedersen, A. B., and Beck, R. (2024). Crypto Tokens and Token Systems. Information Systems Frontiers, pages 1–14.

(Paper II) Iversen, H. M. W., Schmidt, T., Pedersen, A. B., and Beck, R. (2023). How to Cross the Bridge: Interoperability Among Blockchain Systems. In International Conference on Information Systems.

In short, these publications establish the foundation for the reciprocal relationship between cryptographic tokens and token systems from a socio-technical perspective and continue to highlight the research and practical implications of technical, syntactic, semantic, and organizational token interoperability.

A heartfelt thank you to Roman Beck for the kind invitation, and to the entire CIS Department for your thoughtful questions, warm hospitality, and engaging conversations. It has been a privilege to share ideas and learn from your perspectives.
