Description
The Cramér Society's annual autumn meeting was held this year over two half-days on 23–24 October in Lund, more specifically at the School of Economics and Business Administration at Lund University, hosted by the Department of Statistics. This year's meeting revolved around the rapid development in AI and machine learning in recent years and the challenges this poses for our educational programs in statistics and mathematical statistics. The theme of this year's meeting, "What does a modern statistician actually do?", appears more relevant than ever as our students' career paths become less and less obvious and as new roles, such as data analysts, emerge.
