Science Visualization Competition at the ALIFE 2014 conference:
Research in Artificial Life covers a wide range of different topics from computer models of artificial organisms and robotic systems to the creation of synthetic DNA. The goal of the ALIFE Science Visualization Competition is to make these concepts accessible to a broader audience while also encouraging the cross-pollination of ideas between different ALife subfields. The competition will be divided into two main categories: visual print (e.g. illustrations, photographs) and visual media (e.g. videos, demos), with awards in each category. Selected work will be showcased during the conference to be held in New York City, New York, USA.
