Abstract

The ongoing transformation in healthcare requires the creation of agile systems to meet the growing needs of patients. An approach to develop such systems requires the elicitation of end-users’ perspectives to software development life circle. The current requirements development process does not emphasis on the importance of end-users’ participation in the requirements elicitation phase. The present study proposes an approach utilizing Service-Dominant (S-D) logic framework to contribute to the co-design of connected health services. Value co-creation practices when combined with requirements engineering best practices can contribute towards the development of usable software for connected healthcare systems.
