LLM’s as an interface to health care protocols

Projekter: ProjektInnovation

Projektdetaljer

Beskrivelse

We live in an era of humanitarian crises, and we must find ways to support the provision of health care for the most vulnerable communities, such as refugees. This aspect raises questions about how we might digitally support health care providers and their organisations in settings such as refugee camps.

In the proposed project, we will create a platform that uses large language models (LLMs) as an interface to existing health care protocols, which may be complex, thereby making the protocols more accessible and interactive for health care providers and their educators. This will improve the reach and quality of existing health care protocols in resource-constrained environments such as refugee camps. It can support, for example, task-shifting to non-specialist providers in resource-constrained environments and thereby add value to those who deliver health care services, such as NGOs operating in refugee camps.
