Detecting Environmental Crimes via Knowledge Graphs

Environmental crimes involve the improper handling of toxic and/or damaging waste outside the requirements of the law. Currently, the investigation of such crimes involves remote sensing and a number of data collection activities. However, such data is used in traditional ways to support investigation. In this project, we propose to use knowledge graphs, graph neural networks, and their integration with remote sensing data, to provide a step forward in tracking and investigating environmental crimes.
