Case Fair 2026 - ShippingLab

Presse/medie

Beskrivelse

Last week, IT-Universitetet i København brought together companies and students around real digital challenges at the ITU Case Fair – with Blue Denmark represented through a joint effort by ShippingLab, Danish Shipping, and Danske Maritime (Danish Maritime).

At the Case Fair, companies were connected with IT students who, over the spring semester, will work on real life cases and develop digital prototypes and solution proposals as part of their studies. 📖

Around 300 BA and MA students took part on the day, moving between company stands in search of cases they will work on until May. The atmosphere was busy and engaged, with strong interest in how digital solutions are developed and applied in practice, including within the maritime sector.⚓️

The day included a keynote by Jenny Braat from Danske Maritime (Danish Maritime), who highlighted the scale of innovation required for the maritime sector to meet its 2050 climate ambitions, and the critical role of new digital talent in driving that transition.🌱

From Blue Denmark, A.P. Moller - Maersk, OSK Design, Aprendio and DecarbonICE participated and offered cases for the students.👏

For ShippingLab, the ITU Case Fair is a strong example of how structured collaboration with universities can support digital innovation, provide companies with new perspectives and prototypes, and create early connections to future talent. 💡

Thanks to IT-Universitetet i København, the participating companies, our collaboration partners, and not least DS NORDEN for supporting hashtag#ShippingLab’s engagement in talent attraction.
